Trump does not understand multipolarity.

Trump's advisors seem to have told him the truth not only that the U.S. has lost its proxy war on Russia in Ukraine, but that the 34-year unipolar "rules-based" world order, in which the U.S. makes the rules and orders everyone else around, is over.

Trump's Secretary of State Marco Rubio has admitted as much recently in an interview in which he used the word "multipolarity," which at first glance gave the impression that even an arch war-hawk like Rubio realizes that the days of sovereign equality and indivisible security have returned and the U.S.'s ability to impose sovereign inequality and "full spectrum dominance" has ended.

Unfortunately, Queens' NY real estate tough-guy Trump seems to believe that multipolarity means the return of "great game" empires divvying up the world into spheres of influence and that the U.S. in all its "exceptional" glory gets to grab Greenland, Canada, the Panama Canal, and the rest of the Western Hemisphere.

The U.S. ruling class – in particular, Silicon Valley tech bros, Wall Street oligarchs, U.S. weapons manufacturers, and their endless network of intelligence agencies, NGOs, think tanks, media stenographers, and ivy-league indoctrination centers – cannot conceive of a world in which there are big countries, small countries, big economies, small economies, and no one interferes in each other's elections, murders each other's democratically elected leaders, permanently entraps weaker countries in odious debt, or wages economic warfare on the populations of countries whose leaders refuse to submit them to plunder by another's banks and corporations, but rather everyone engages in win-win trade with everybody else.

All the U.S. ruling class understands is monopoly, dominance, power, force, coercion, and control. Not just Trump, but with his bizarrely haywire mind and exceptionalist cabinet, he is perfectly suited for the job of tyrannical U.S. emperor.

Canada should absolutely not back down from this murderous, tyrannical gang of skunks. It should withdraw from NATO – a vicious, aggressive instrument of U.S. empire that destroyed Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, and Ukraine on the basis of brazen lies – declare neutrality, and apply for BRICS membership immediately.

Canada does not belong to the U.S. and has no reason to fear it.

We should begin arming and training self defense cadres to resist U.S. military occupation, permanently end participation in U.S. aggressive naval provocations in the Taiwan Strait, and demand the immediate withdrawal of all U.S. military from Canada.

In 1967 and 1968, when the U.S. refused to ship grain to China, Canada continued its shipments, an expression of goodwill by the old Canada – the Canada that understood mutuality, empathy, diplomacy and cooperation before U.S. media, NGOs, and predatory institutions infiltrated our economy and corrupted our culture – that the People's Republic of China surely will never forget.

Canada has friends in the world and can have more provided its mining companies wake up to the fact that colonial exploitation is the past and mutual benefit is the future.

We do not need to be abused by the U.S., who have more to lose than we do if we end our dependency on it. Canada, in fact, by turning outward to the rest of the world can hasten the domestic social and economic collapse of the monstrous, genocidal U.S. empire. We are doing the world a disservice by continuing to enable the U.S. to commit its crimes against humanity with impunity.
